All Systems Go!

Here's a recent techie cover illustration for IBM Power Systems magazine showcasing their new virtual servers on IBM Cloud. This is a good ol' Photoshop mix of 3d, photography and layered texture mayhem. You can see this and previous work for IBM on the site here.

Prism Break

Here's a new cover illustration for IBM Systems Magazine on optimising your 'AI Journey'. The abstract brief required a visual that somehow showed important information being identified and channelled from multiple data sources. The first works-in-progress show the initial classic prism idea and multi-sided object visual that were combined for the cover concept. The finished illustration was put together with 3d and 2d techniques. See this and other work for IBM publications on the site here.

The Cloud Factory

Here's a new cover illustration for IBM Systems magazine for a feature on their latest cloud tech. The brief was to create a positive-looking futuristic 'cloud factory' without suggesting pollution or smoke. I went through a few rough iterations above that were very colourful but had a touch of the toxic or just too cluttered before simplifying the chosen illustration for the final. You can see previous work for IBM Systems magazine here.
