WIA 2017 Shortlist

I'm happy as a plate of punch pie to be shortlisted for this year's World Illustration Awards 2017 through the AOI. I'm in the Advertising category for this poster illustration to promote Second Hand Sundays regular DJ slot 'Adventures in a Land of Ever-changing Wax Grooves' at south London's The Ivy House last year. Adventures In A Land Of Ever-Changing Wax Grooves

Here's a new flyer/poster design for a couple of friend's dj slot, Second Hand Sundays, at the wonderful co-operatively run pub, The Ivy House, in Nunhead, south-east London. The image sprouted out of the suggested idea of the groove in a record being a beautiful valley and I worked in the two intrepid dj/ramblers charting a musical course through it. The night starts this Sunday and details can be found at London Blues Night.
