Infinity Plus One

I recently took on a fun commission to create the artwork for American family hip hop artist Secret Agent 23 Skidoo's new album, Infinity Plus One. Working with the artist Cactus Skidoo the brief was to create illustrations that reflected the 'intergalactic space funk' of the music and a child-like wonder for the cosmos. The artwork is primarily for the packaging with the CD design itself based on the Voyager Golden Record launched into space on the classic '77 mission. The packaging also features glow-in-the-dark elements on the front and back. You can see the artwork on the main site here.

Update - The album went on to win the Grammy for 'Best Children's Album this year. Congrats to Cactus!

Showreel 2016

A new motion reel is up at the site to check out showcasing all the latest animated work from the last year or so. Thanks to Bokhari Records for the great tune, R-Type (my fave arcade game!) by Mark E.

Spaceman and the Nanobots

Here are two new BBC Focus covers and iPad edition animations to cast the eyeballs over. Most recently is a lone lunar astronaut illustration for a Q+A Space Special issue and before that a cover on Nano Medics beavering away inside the human body. You can see more cover work for BBC Focus on the site here.

Good Problem

Here's a new illustration and design for the latest single 'Good Problem' from  the band First Congress. It's a song about a relationship that survives against the odds so I crafted this piece by splicing a reluctantly enamoured cat and dog with an interesting still I chanced across from thirties movie Now And Forever. You can listen to the song on their site here and see further artwork and animation for First Congress on my site here.
